Hi Jim,
It was so nice talking to you this morning. Here is the info on the fabulous private tour guide I mentioned to you. His name is Gianpiero Fiorentino. His number is 011393336518540. His email address is info@gianpierofiorentino.com He made the Amalfi Coast one of our favorite spots. He is from Sorrento so he really was able to give us a true flavor of the city. He took us to his friend’s Olive Oil Factory for a personal tour and tasting. The owner is a young woman (5th generation) who has won a beautiful trophy for the 2nd best olive oil in Italy. He drove us to Positano, Amalfi and stopped at a friend’s trattoria on the cliffs outside of Ravello for the best Italian meal we had. He ordered for us 3 different appetizers and 3 different pasta dishes and 2 types of wine. The view was spectacular. The only downside was that we did not have enough time to spend with him. We correspond frequently and plan to see him next year. Don’t let your customers miss having his wonderful services. I believe he will also drive to other cities too. Take care, Janis Schechter |
